You’ll discover a broad variety of tourist attractions in the town of Badplaas, which is located close to Vygeboom Dam.

• Cradle of Life Bio Park offers game drives, a big cat sanctuary, and on-site eating establishments such as a restaurant and a bar.
• Kruger National Park‘s Malelane Gate is only 142 kilometres away, while the Numbi Gate is 152 kilometres away from OppiDam.
It’s likely that you’d spend most of your time on the houseboat on sunny days, either watching birds, fishing, lounging in the sun, or just taking in the scenery. Many anglers visit the dam for the sole purpose of catching the “big one.” Fishermen frequent the dam because the water is perfect for catching carp, golden fish, bass, and kurper.
If it is raining outside, you may stay cosy in your boat and enjoy movies on the DVD player that is supplied. Playing some card games or board games may also be a lot of fun at this time. When the weather is not conducive to activities outside, the following are some indoor activities that may be enjoyed in the area:
• Badplaas, A Forever Resorts Hydro Spa: Four indoor swimming pools are available. Three temperatures: one hot, two warm, and one cold. (No children under the age of three.)
• Treatments at the spa: You may indulge in spa treatments at either Badplaas, A Forever Resort, which is open from 08:00 to 17:00, or Dawson’s Game Lodge Spa.
A day out on the lake will be an unforgettable experience for the youngsters.
They may learn how to fish, swim in the dam, and get a better understanding of living in the great outdoors.
They may hire a kayak or paddle boat at the charter base. Space to play and run about is plenty.
